We understand that your schedule can be busy, so we’ve set our system to send you friendly reminders via text or e-mail up to 48 hours prior to your appointment. Each appointment is one-on-one time we specifically allot for you. If you cannot make it, please let us know by calling 902-370-7322.

We are located at 175 Shakespeare Drive. To access the clinic, please enter the building through “Main Entrance” doors located in the back of the building. There is elevator access to reach the 2nd floor, we are suite 202.

It is recommended that you have someone drive you home from the initial appointment. If you do not have a ride, we ask that you wait 15mins after the appointment before driving.


Concussion Management

Physiotherapy treatments can be used to assess and help improve issues with balance and coordination, along with a variety of symptoms that can occur after a concussion, including headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and neck pain. Our physiotherapists can also help by providing education on how to manage symptoms going forward to help you return to your pre-injury level of activity.

Marcellus completed his master from Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy in 2021. Prior to completing his masters degree Marcellus graduated with honours in Kinesiology from the University of Prince Edwards Island.

Born and raised in the eastern end of PEI, he enjoys nothing more than helping people.

Marcellus has also completed post graduate training in trigger point dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation.

His post graduate interests include manual therapy techniques, pain science, acupuncture, dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation.

Brent graduated with his masters from the Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy in 2013. Prior to completing his masters degree Brent studied Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick.

Brent has also completed post graduate training in pain science, needling, dry needling, running injury prevention, vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management.

He has worked as a sports trainer with minor hockey teams and has worked as the physiotherapist for the Holland College Volleyball teams prior to joining the team!

Dr. Ainsley MacKinnon received her Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Kinesiology at the University of Prince Edward Island in 2018. She graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2022, and began her practice in Western Newfoundland where she worked alongside many other talented health care providers. She finally settled in and set up practice in Eastern PEI in 2024.

Through her learning in school, from mentors, and the various courses she has taken, she has learned a great deal about chronic pain and implements her knowledge in practice each day.

Allison started her career by obtaining an undergrad degree in Kinesiology at St. FX University in 2014. She then went on to get a Diploma in Professional Kinesiology at Lakehead University in 2015. Shortly after, she was trained in Fascial Stretch Therapy and started seeing clients as a physiotherapy assistant and building her own Kinesiology practice.

After about 2 years she went back to school at the National Academy of Osteopathy to become a Manual Osteopath in 2019 and currently uses all the therapeutic tools she’s developed to treat chronic pain and postural imbalances through the body.

She also teaches chair yoga and various wellness classes at the reactive health Wellness Studio to help her clients maintain or even boost the results they get from one on one treatments.
